Restaurant Indonesia is one of the best restaurant's in Napier. Their problem, not many locals know it. Rated #1 on Trip Advisor for Restaurants in Napier, most of Restaurant Indonesia's customers are tourists.
Kees, the colorful and friendly owner called on SocialKiwi to see if we could help change that up and bring in more local customers.
We started by re-designing their website. We felt that their existing website didn't represent the business and what it had to offer. The new site has a lot more pictures and navigating to the important parts like Menus and Reservation pages is much easier.
We also mobile optimized the website.
To target locals, we are running monthly Facebook giveaways combined with some simple Facebook advertising.
The Facebook numbers are growing as are the number of local customers.
As such, we decided it would be a good idea to implement a booking sytem right inside the Facebook platform making it easier than ever for the hundreds of new Facebook fans to book through Facebook.
